Code Compliance Certificate

CCC or Code Compliance Certificate is a document issued by the local council. For a new build, this confirms to the builder or developer permission for the recent build to be occupied. This indicates that the building is in compliance with public health and current building codes.

If it’s a renovation that requires consent, the process is similar but is issued to the current home owner after passing final inspection and after proof of payment of council fees.
