Established in 1850 and originally called the Taranaki Savings Bank, (Renamed TSB Bank in 1860) TSB is a New Zealand owned and operated bank headquartered in New Plymouth. TSB has 25 branches throughout the country with 12 of them in the Taranaki region.
Historically, in 1986, when local banks were merging to form Trust Bank, TSB Bank stood aside and remained an independent organisation. Since expanding its operations throughout the country and continuing to remain feircely independant.
The TSB Community Trust owns the bank and invests the bank's profits back into the New Zealand community.
